A readiness assessment is not simply a compliance exercise. It shows whether governance, data and reporting can support credible decisions.
As sustainability reporting becomes more structured, many organisations begin by asking what they need to disclose. A stronger starting question is whether the organisation can consistently produce the information those disclosures require.
Readiness depends on connected responsibilities, governance, data ownership, processes and internal controls. A clear assessment exposes where information is fragmented, where accountability is unclear and where current practices may not support reliable reporting.
The value is not only a list of gaps. It is a prioritised path from the current state to a reporting-ready organisation—one that can respond to requirements with greater confidence and use sustainability information in better business decisions.
